The Baja Flyfishing Co. offers a variety of guided fly fishing off shore packages as well as guided beach and kayak fishing. We can customize a trip that combines a mix of boats and shore fishing options. All guided packages include our personalized service as well as the following:
- Lodging
- Meals included at Mangrove Inn, Casa Tripp, Spa Buena Vista and Rancho Leonero
- Box Lunch and water on all full day packages
- Airport/hotel transfers
- All taxes
- Orientation to saltwater fly fishing, fly casting and fly fishing techniques.
- Fishing with an English speaking Fly Fishing Guide
- All Equipment provided including fly rod, reel and flies.

East Cape, Sea of Cortez, Baja
With so many hotel options available on the East Cape, Baja Flyfishing offers you the opportunity to create your own package.
To determine a package price multiply the number of nights stay by the room rate, add that to the number of guide days based on the daily guide rate for either beach or panga. If you need a transfer add $200 to the total.
All lodging options include the 16% IVA tax and the 3% room tax and based on double occupancy. Winter rates do apply, so ask. We always apply any specials that hotels are running. You never pay more by booking through Baja Flyfishing Co.

I'm not a fishing guide, just a fishing fool. I do know most of the top-notch rooster guides on the coast as we all fish the same beaches and most of those folks have been very generous with their knowledge of these fish with us. Probably the top two guides in the area are Mike Rieser and Merry Waugh. They
operate out of Punta Colorado-Baja Flyfishing Company. Mike and Merry use only the flies that they personally tie and Mike is a legendary fly tier. His rooster patterns are the best I've seen and Merry's flies, often inspired by Mike's, are real effective and beautiful as well. Mike is a longtime fishing guide in the East Cape and probably would not like me to call him the elder statesman of the bunch but he is certainly the most knowledgeable and experienced of all the East Cape guides. They also have an amazing arsenal of top notch fly fishing rods, reels, lines that they keep in excellent condition-certainly the best gear on the East Cape-they are true pros. Perhaps the best thing I can say about those two is they are really fun to fish with.

Baja Flyfishing Co. LLC is a Limited Liability Company A deposit of 50% is required to book a trip; the balance due 60 days before departure. Deposit is fully refundable if cancelled 60 days prior to departure. A $50 per night charge will apply if cancelled between 30 and 60 days prior to departure. A $100 per night charge will apply if cancelled within 30 days of departure.
